What are Class Representatives?

At the beginning of each academic year, a parent or carer (or two) from each class volunteer as a class representative.  

Class representatives are a useful form of contact between the class teacher and the parents and carers. We ask them to set up a class WhatsApp group and help with useful reminders for others. These reminders can include things such as PE days, trips and assemblies, non-uniform days and other useful pieces of information.

Class representatives are not expected to deal with complaints and issues regarding individual children, but if there is an issue which is troubling a group of parents and carers, it can sometimes be useful for the class representative to talk to the teacher about it.
